When it finally sunk in I just wanted to cry I was so happy. Just the thought of being able to hold my baby and see Ciel meet his son, I was overwhelmed with joy. To feel this much for a child I haven't even met yet, I can't even imagine what his birthday will be like.

Here we are at 32 weeks.
You can tell by the flushed and sweaty face that I am 8 months pregnant in the heat of summer in Hawaii. I am always hot, and that's unusual for me. I used to be perfectly comfortable in 90 degree weather. So my days are getting more and more uncomfortable. Heat, heartburn, backache, achy feet, and a very squished stomach. Although it makes it all worth it when I think about the end result.
At the doctors office today she did a quick ultrasound (no pics to show off though) to see how the baby is positioned. He is already head down, and I hope he stays that way. His hand were up by his face and his little feet were crossed and tucked. When I saw where his feet were it explained the soccer kick type movement I feel on my right side! We will go in for a more detailed ultrasound in 2 weeks to see how big he is and make sure he is still in good position. Hopefully I will have some pictures to share then.

Another beautiful evening. This is from our living room window as I watched the sailboat race that Ciel was in. He is in Honolulu today crewing for another sailboat race. While I rest my feet and take it easy he has been having fun sailing, surfing, and he even got to go to the dolphin sanctuary (not open to the public...he has a friend that works there) in Kaneohe Bay. It makes me smile to think of Ciel introducing our son to all the wonderful things Hawaii has to offer.
